According to Islam, electricity is a common ownership that must be controlled and managed by the state for the benefit of all people. Due, Electricity is a basic requirement of the people and is a form of community service that must be done state. Therefore, the state should not hand over control and management of electricity to the private sector as well as where the state should not hand over control and management of raw materials to the private power plant. This is because the electricity and mining commodities are an overwhelming number of public property that should not becontrolled the private sector and individuals .
In connection with this the Messenger of Allah said:
“The Muslims of association in three ways, namely water, pasture and fire.”
